All students must submit a security deposit of ₹20,000with their current month fees on the
day of entry into the hostel. This deposit will be held by the hostel and will be adjusted at
the student’s final exam month or any outstanding dues at the time of their departure from
the hostel.
- The security deposit will be refunded after the completion of the required stay duration - To
be eligible for a refund of the security deposit, Nurture students must have stayed in the
hostel for a minimum of 18 months or above. Enthuse/Leader students are eligible for a
security deposit refund after staying in the hostel for a minimum of 9 months or above.
- If a student vacates the hostel before completing the required stay period (18 months for
Nurture or 9 months for Enthuse/Leader students), the security deposit will be non-
refundable.
- If a student wishes to leave the hostel permanently before completing the required stay
duration due to an emergency or any other personal reason, they must submit a formal
request to the hostel management. The approval of the security deposit refund will be at
the sole discretion of the hostel management. The management will review each case
individually, considering the circumstances and reasons for early departure. If the hostel
management decides to approve the early departure, the student may be receiving their
security deposit back (depending on hostel management humanity.)
- Any student wants to leave the hostel permanently and claim their security deposit then
he/she must submit a written application to the hostel management at least 3 months prior
to their intended departure date. Upon approval of the application and after the completion
of the required notice period, the student will be eligible to receive their security deposit
back, subject to the following conditions: A 2-month bed charge will be deducted from the
security deposit to cover the costs of early departure. The remaining balance, after this
deduction, will be refunded.
- Hostel authority have the full authority for inspection of rooms, personal belongings etc of
the students at any time if required due to any case of suspicion.
- Intake or even possession of things like alcohol or any alcoholic beverages, sedative and
narcotic substances , smoking , use of tobacco or similar substances , intoxicating substances
such as non-prescribed cough syrups etc. is not permissible at any point of time and at any
cost. Gambling in any form such as Playing Cards (even without money at stake), are
prohibited. If any student found of using such items will make himself/herself debarred from
the scope of remaining within the hostel.
- From the permission from the parents, Students can be allowed to go outside from 6 AM to
7 PM other than Institute, with their own/parents responsibility. For which parents must
send their outing details by text messages from their registered mobile number.
- Student/Inmate is wholly and solely responsible for his/her own belongings such as cash,
cell phones, luggage, jewellery etc. He/She is advised to keep his own belonging under lock
and key and in his/her own custody. Hostel authorities shall not be liable for any kind of
damage or theft.
- In case of any medical emergency, at any time student shall inform the hostel authority
instantly so that necessary arrangement can be made by the hostel authorities with due
consultation and permission of the parent/local guardian.
- Any expense to be incurred for immediate medical attention such as medical tests and first
aid etc. are to be borne by the parent with submission of bills and vouchers by the Hostel
Authority
- Parents /local guardians can meet the students before 7 PM on any day with prior
intimation and permission from the hostel in charge.
- Students are not allowed to go other student’s room during study hour which is from 7 PM
to 9 PM and strictly after 10.30 PM. Strict silence will be observed between 10.30 PM to
6.30 AM
- If any goods maintained/owned by the hostel are damaged/broken by the inmate then the
concerned-student have to pay the fines as decided by the hostel authorities and the same
has to be deposited within three days of the notice.
- Sticking of posters, defaming walls and hostel premises is strictly prohibited.
- Loud Music or making loud noise in the hostel is strictly prohibited in order to maintain
decorum and the hostel neighbor friendly.
- Any problem regarding food, transportation, maintenance should be brought to the notice
of hostel warden immediately for necessary action.
- Any type of electric appliances is not allowed in the hostel.
- For unlawful conduct of any student, hostel authority has the right to rusticate the student
from the hostel and no refund shall be given under such circumstance/s.
- Male visitors are not allowed to visit girl student rooms.
- If a parent opts for staying with the child, He/she can stay with prior approval from the
authority by paying additional charges.
- Students are not allowed to stay in the hostel during the college hours unless the stay is
unavoidable due to illness or any other valid reason.
- Outside students / friends are not allowed to enter hostel premise.
- All Students must register their names in entry register while going outside.
- Hostel Authority shall not be responsible for any type of mishap when the student is out of
hostel.
- Hostel will provide four times food at hostel premises for a specific time period, Students
are advised to have their food during that defined period otherwise no request shall be
entertained after that.
- A student seeking admission to the hostel has given consent that he/she is aware of the
ragging law. Ragging is strictly prohibited. If anyone is found guilty of directly/indirectly
involved in ragging he/she will be punished/rusticated/ expelled/suspended from the hostel.
